The Miniature Alpine Dairy Goat combines the genetics of the standard size Alpine dairy goat with the Nigerian Dwarf goat.  This combination produces a goat of medium sized stature.

A first generation Miniature Alpine Dairy Goat is the product of a standard-sized Alpine bred to a Nigerian Dwarf.  This first crossing of the two breeds is called an F1.

 

Further generations of Miniature Alpine Dairy Goats are created by crossing Miniature Alpine Dairy  Goats with other Miniature Alpine Dairy Goats.  This is how you produce an F2, F3, F4, etc.
